The Delve Retail Index is an anonymised retail performance index that catalogues sales and stockholding data directly from retailers’ ERP systems.
It is an opt-in, weighted average index with full anonymity of the constituents and their contribution.
Opt-in
The Delve Retail Index enables retailers to compare their performance to industry averages for sales volumes, brand performance, and regional granularity.
Using an opt-in model, retailers that contribute to the index receive access to the data.
Full Anonymity
Delve anonymises, aggregates, and weights data from multiple retailers to prepare the index. This is a fully secure process which prevents any attempt to uncover the constituents of the data.
The constituents of the contributors and users of the Delve Retail Index are kept secret.
